About this Floral Hello Kitty coloring page
Hibiscus and roses fill the border on every side, drawn open and overlapping, with leaves worked in between them. It holds more separate areas than any other drawing here.
How to color Floral Hello Kitty
- Colour the hibiscus first, in warm reds and oranges, one flower at a time.
- cool pink Give the roses cooler pinks, working from the outer petals inwards.
- Fill the leaves between them in two greens so they do not merge.
Two flowers, two treatments. Keep the hibiscus in warm reds and the roses in cooler pinks, and the border stops reading as one mass.
Things to know about Floral Hello Kitty
- A hibiscus flower usually lasts a single day, opening in the morning and closing for good by evening.
- A rose is drawn from the centre outwards because the petals overlap in a spiral, and drawing them the other way never quite convinces.
How long does this coloring page take?
Forty five minutes or more. It has the highest number of separate areas in the collection, and the flowers overlap, so there is no shortcut through it.
